Flower Power

The big trend to hit pursedom for the 2010 summer season is flowers. Large centered flowers, offset small flowers, flower clusters, all over flowers, silk flowers, painted flowers--everything’s coming up flowers. We chose a few of our favorite flower bags to help you bring a little flower power to your life.

Mary Frances Clutch

Mary Frances Shaffer has been decking out handbags for over 20 years and is a leader in the fashion accessory world. She took the flower trend to heart and created this dressed-up denim clutch with an over-sized flower, sparkly sequins and beads placed on a delicate frame.

Hetloo Hobo

This Hetloo hobo is no slacker: it's a luxurious pigskin bag encased in gold diamond dust and encrusted with multi-color crystals and paillettes (French for small shiny objects applied in clusters as decorative trimming). The result? A variable butterfly garden you can carry with you. Small, black pom poms encircle the bag entirely for an edgy look.

Jordi Labanda Sophis Bag

World famous illustrator and designer Jordi Labanda surrounds his archetypal woman in flowers galore on the suede Sophis tote. This sculpted bag is debossed (the design is heat-pressed into the material which creates depressions) as opposed to embossed where the actual design is raised.
