Juicy-hued Ladies Watches for Summer

More often than not ask someone today what time it is and immediately they’ll pull out their cell phone. Gone are the days of the traditional “wrist turn and look” and with it a decline in watch sales across the globe. Just this month, Japan’s "Big Three" watch firms (Citizen, Casio and Seiko) reported a 31% drop in sales.

True, the classic time piece has seen better days, but they are now playing a more fashionable accessory role instead of a functional one. For a splash of color, Vogue Magazine is purporting the merits of adding a “juicy-hued” watch to your summer fashion line up. Medium and large faced watches are popular with color-soaked leather, metal and even plastic bands.

Fossil is famous for its cool and casual watches and they’ve brought their game to this year’s line up. Colors are vivid and bright—turquoise, Pantone’s color of 2010, makes its appearance on a silicone banded beauty great for dress or casual. These ladies watches are so juicy we want to eat them up, but then sadly we'd be back to telling time on our cells.
