A full length mirror mounted in a metal or wood frame so that it can tilt forward or backward is called a cheval mirror. Antique mirror designs include the beautiful cheval which means support in French--literal translation is "horse." Generally, cheval mirrors are prized for their beauty, but in terms of interior design, they can be tilted to just the right angle to reflect light and provide depth to a space.
The Lourdes Cheval Mirror is a beautiful example of a versatile mirror that can be used in many rooms, from the entry way to the dressing room. Made of sturdy bronze finished metal with a scroll design, its oval shape would make a great addition to an old world or eclectic space.

Tired of looking at the same old, same old, black mirrors? If you've been shopping for wall mirrors, but can't find one with an interesting unique design? Take a look at the Shutter Mirror in Black Finish from Decorize, Inc. What makes it different? For one thing it's huge at 64.5" by 80". Obviously a floor mirror, it's framed on either side by vintage looking shutters that have been hand painted in a finish called Crossroads Black Licorice.
How's that for an over the top mirror that's definitely different in design?

Decorative clocks don't seem to be on the top of many interior decorating wish lists today. It's a shame really because there are lots of great pieces that can add a decorative focal point in most any room. Perhaps we don't think much about clocks because time is at hand continuously--on our televisions, computer screens and cell phones.
In the past wood clocks were just about the only choice. Now, we can find beautiful designs in many materials. Wood is still a favorite, but metals and synthetics are readily available in many shapes and sizes.
The Uttermost Cason Wall Clock in Chestnut Brown is a good example of a wood clock that is large enough at 30" across to become an interesting feature in an entry or dining room. It would look great above a sideboard in the dining room or a long table in the foyer. The Uttermost Cason with its scooped frame design in distressed chestnut brown wood veneer and antiqued gold details is designed by Grace Feyock.

It's never too early to get a jump on holiday shopping. For the men in your life, you might want to check out the amazing array of elegant men's watches. Men's chronograph watches make an ideal gift because there's a perfect pick for just about any lifestyle. You'll find stylish dress watches, multi-functional designs for the sports enthusiast or sleek modern looks for the man who is all business.
Chronograph watches offer more functionality because they have a standard dial plus one or more sub-dials for measuring intervals like seconds or minutes. The simple definition is a watch with a stopwatch built in. That's why lots of men prefer a chronograph watch.
Here's one great looking stylish watch we've discovered. Fossil says its Chronograph Brown Dial Watch is the perfect travel companion, with a large brown dial plus three sub-dials surrounding it. Made of ion-plated stainless steel, it sports a comfortable control bracelet band.

If you have a large master suite to fill, four poster beds will give a big presence which can diminish the sometimes cavernous feel of a big room. Their height and bulkiness should be accompanied by larger dressers and bedside tables. Even simple wood beds like the traditionally-styled American Drew Full Poster Bed in Black Cherry Maple will create a lovely focal point for any larger bedroom.
Set off the American Drew four poster bed with matching maple-topped bedside tables and an oversize dresser with mirror. Typically, you’ll want to avoid matching sets as they can give a dated look to your décor. However, with a larger space matching woods and finishes seems to take up more space by giving a continuity of size, color and materials around the room.

Who: Asunta Pelaez, NOVICA National Geographic Artisan
What: Green Star Mirror
Where: NOVICA via StylePath
How Much: Under $70
Why We Dig It: Of course, all mirrors accomplish their main mission, to cast our reflection, but the Green Star mirror goes above and beyond the call of duty of other colorful mirrors. Handcrafted with exquisite detailing of delicate multi-colored flowers with a shimmery deep olive and white background made of hand painted glass panels covering a solid wood frame.
Why You Need It: Besides the fact that it is absolutely beautiful and will make your friends green with envy; this one of a kind piece will give your décor a touch of the exotic and a bit of a Moroccan feel. When you gaze into this green mirror, you can just imagine strolling down the narrow streets of the open air markets filled with hussle and bussle of Moroccan life with the smell of spices floating around you.
While I was making my way around StylePath today, I ran across all the terrific choices we have in watches for men. I noticed every watch that caught my eye was either all orange or had orange detailing to it. So I picked a few I thought you might like to see. If you need a great gift idea for a significant other or another male in your life, a new watch should just hit the spot. Something about a man wearing a good looking men’s watch is quite dashing. Take a look at these gorgeous orange watches from Tommy Bahama, Bulova and St Moritz.
Tommy Bahama Baja men's watch with orange leather strap and black and orange dial.
Bulova Men's Marine Watch with stainless steel band and orange and blue face.
Momentum by St Moritz men's watch with roughy orange dial and black rubber strap.

Walker Edison Tuxedo Chair
This funkier than funky dining chair is named a Cradle Chair but it seems a "ghost chair" is more befitting. Made from clear acrylic, it has 50s inspired retro chrome legs and seat supports. It will look great around a solid black or chrome table accented with a bright red or yellow.
